Thiruvananthapuram: Seat sharing talks in the UDF has begun with leaders meeting here on Wednesday.
It had been generally agreed that all constituents could contest for their sitting seats. The talks will be mainly regarding seats they had not won last time. Minor constituents of the Front have demanded more seats with the Janata Dal (United) demanding as many as 10 seats. Kerala Congress is waiting to demand more seats during bilateral talks.

Kunjoonju Kathakal-2: Oommen Chandyyude Narma Sandarbhangal, a hilarious account of his experiences written by his Press Secretary P. T. Chacko, was released by actor Madhu here on Tuesday. Additional Chief Secretary D. Babu Paul received the first copy.

Malayalam film Charlie has won eight Kerala State awards including that of best Director for 2015. Ennu Ninte Moideen won seven awards including that for best film with popular appeal and aesthetic value. Martin Prakkat is the director of Charlie.
Dulquar and Parvathi bagged the awards for best actor and actress for their performance in Charlie. The Jury also considered Parvathi’s performance in Ennu Ninte Moideen in bestowing her the award.
