Committee appointed to probe malfunctioning of EVMs

Thiruvananthapuram: The State Election Commission has appointed a high level committee to probe the malfunctioning of electronic voting machines in Malappuram and Thrissur districts during elections to local self governments.

Former Pro Vice Chancellor of Indira Gandhi Open University K. R. Sreevatsan, Director General of C-DAC Rajat Moona and Executive Director of C-DAC B. Ramani are members of the committee. The Committee will submit its enquiry report in one month, an official release said.
