Leaders submit nominations

Thiruvananthapuram: CPI (M) leaders V. S. Achuthanandan and Pinarai Vijayan filed their nominations from Malampuzha and Dharmadom constituencies on Monday.

Muslim League leaders P. K. Kunhalikutty (Vengara), P. K. Abdu Rubb (Tirurangadi) and Manjalamkuzhi Ali (Perinthalmanna) also filed their nominations on Monday.

The others who filed their nominations included Ministers Shibu Baby John (Chavara) and P. K. Jayalekshmi (Mananthavady) and P. T. Thomas (Thrikkakara).  Mr. Benny Behnan was with Mr. Thomas when he went to file the nomination. Mr. Sebastian Paul (CPI-M) has also filed his nomination from the constituency.

BJP leader P. S. Sreedharan Pillai filed his papers to contest from Chengannur.
